Autonomous Vehicle System Integration

This expert-level course is designed for those looking to master the complete system integration process for autonomous vehicles. Participants will learn to model vehicle movement, integrate disparate software modules using ROS, and implement control systems. The course culminates in a final project where teams will integrate and test a full system on the PSAS Parcel Robot, covering lane detection, object detection, mapping, and path planning.
Course Curriculum
- Autonomous Vehicle Movement Modeling
- Integration with ROS Programming
- Dynamic Properties of Autonomous Vehicles
- Speed and Steering Control (PID, Bicycle Model)
- System Integration Project (PSAS Parcel Robot)
- Final Module Integration: Lane Detection, Object Detection, Mapping, Path Planning, and Control
